Our Staff
Building a strong and qualified team of individuals is a top priority at Glenashton Daycare Centre. We take pride in hiring exceptional staff, that become positive role models/teachers to our children. When hiring our staff, Glenashton Daycare Centre ensures each candidate holds a solid educational background, field experience and passion with working with children. Our team of Registered Early Childhood Educators have all obtained their First Aid, CPR training, along with criminal police clearance.
Our staff also takes part in monthly Professional Development Workshop through our Quality First Partnership. These workshops aim to keep our staff up-to-date with changing occurrences in the Field of Early Childhood Education and within their classrooms. Beside being Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators, many of our staff have additional qualifications such as: BA, Nursing Diplomas, Certified Teacher’s, Masters of Education and more. Together we have created a strong team of educations who strive to meet the needs of our families.
Quality First
Quality First is a quality early learning initiative providing all licensed childcare programs in Halton region with the opportunity to participate in a developmental model for quality improvement. Quality First Believes in developing the professionalism of individuals involved in the care and education of young children.Improving the level of quality indicators in children’s programs. While, collaborating with local colleges to promote the professionalism readiness of early childhood educators.

Participation in Quality First indicates the program’s commitment to work towards high quality environments and interactions for children in their programs. All staff at Glenashton Daycare Centre attends regular Professional Development Workshops, take part in classroom consultations and goal setting to ensure our center continues to provide quality care to our families.
